When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. In addition, the IP address is transmitted and used to use the service you have requested. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the website content you have requested and is mandatory when using the Internet.
This log file data is anonymised or deleted by us immediately after the end of the usage process. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR.

If you send us an enquiry by email or via the contact form, we will collect the data you provide in order to process and respond to your request. We store this data for verification purposes for a period of up to 2 years. Legal basis for data processing Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR.
Notes on ensuring data security
We take technical and operational security precautions on our website to protect the personal data stored by us from access by third parties, loss or misuse and to enable secure data transfer.
We must point out that due to the structure of the Internet, unwanted access to data by third parties can occur. It is therefore also your responsibility to protect your data against misuse through encryption or in some other way. Without appropriate protective measures, data transmitted unencrypted, even by e-mail, can be read by third parties.
IV. Integration of third-party services
Integration of social plugins
Elements of social media are used on this website (Facebook, LinkedIn).
You can usually recognise the social media elements by the respective social media logos. To ensure data protection on this website, we only use these elements together with the so-called "Shariff" solution. This application prevents the social media elements integrated on this website from transferring your personal data to the respective provider when you first enter the site. A direct connection to the provider's server is only established when you activate the respective social media element by clicking on the corresponding button (consent). As soon as you activate the social media element, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you are logged into your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook) at the same time, the respective provider can assign the visit to this website to your user account.
Activating the plugin constitutes consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. The service is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of certain technologies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
Integration of Google TAG Manager
We use the [Google Tag Manager] for the delivery of online advertising and the integration of external partners. This enables us to control the delivery of online advertising. This tool works without cookies, but nevertheless requires the transmission of IP addresses to Google. The use and utilisation of the Tag Manager is measured here. We have activated the anonymisation of the IP address before it is forwarded to Google. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f) GDPR]. The data collected will be deleted after 2 years.
Integration of YouTube
Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and thus on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We only record the extent to which the YouTube videos integrated on our website are accessed and delete this data after 2 years.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy .

General information on the use of cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device and saved by your browser. They serve to make our services more user-friendly, effective and secure. We use both temporary cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser ("session cookies"), and persistent (permanent) cookies.
You have the choice of whether you want to allow cookies to be set. You can make changes in your browser settings. If you decide in favour of the last option, it is possible that you will not be able to make full use of our website.
When cookies are used, a distinction must be made between cookies that are absolutely necessary and cookies that are used for other purposes (measurement of access figures, advertising purposes).
Strictly necessary cookies when using the website
We use session cookies on our websites that are absolutely necessary for the use of our websites. These include cookies that enable us to recognise you while you are visiting the site during a single session. These session cookies contribute to the secure use of our website by enabling the secure processing of the shopping basket function and the payment process.
Use of cookies with your consent
Below you will find an overview of the cookies that we use with your consent given at the beginning of your use of the website. You will also find an opt-out option for each explanation of their use. These are cookies for recording the usage behaviour of our website and cookies that are used for advertising purposes.
Use of cookies to record user behaviour (tracking)
The use of tracking cookies enables us to recognise users when they access our website again and thus assign usage processes to an internally assigned identification number (pseudonym). This allows us to record and analyse repeated visits to our website.
Specifically, the following tracking cookies are used:
Tracking through Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on our behalf to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the storage of cookies is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR). The further analysis of the collected data using Google Analytics takes place over a period of 2 years on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
You can also find more information on this at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
(general information on Google Analytics and data protection).Google Adwords Tracking
We use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers with the help of advertising material (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. These adverts are delivered by Google via so-called "ad servers". Ad server cookies are used to analyse performance parameters such as ad impressions, clicks and conversions. This enables us to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the advertising campaign data. If you access our website via a Google advert, Google Adwords will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies generally lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. The following analysis values are usually stored for this cookie:
Unique Cookie ID
Number of ad impressions per placement (frequency)
Last impression (relevant for post-view conversions)
OptOut information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed)
These cookies enable Google to recognise your internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of an Adwords customer's website and the cookie stored on their computer has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Adwords customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. We ourselves do not collect and process any personal data in the aforementioned advertising measures. We only receive statistical analyses from Google. These analyses enable us to recognise which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not receive any further data from the use of the advertising material; in particular, we cannot identify users on the basis of this information. The legal basis for the storage of cookies by Google is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR).Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. Please note that data processing by Google may take place outside the European Union. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-USFramework. We also have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our level of knowledge:
Through the integration of "tracking tools", Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our Internet presence or have clicked on an advert from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out your IP address and save it. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html
You can refuse the setting of cookies. This can be done, for example, by setting your browser to generally deactivate the automatic setting of cookies. Alternatively, you can deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com". You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website by installing a browser plug-in: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can deactivate the use of cookies by Google for these purposes by going to https://www.google.de/settings/ads/. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . Alternatively, you can also visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI): http://www.networkadvertising.org/
BING Ads
The website uses the remarketing function "Bing Ads" of Microsoft Corporation One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. ("Microsoft Advertising"). Microsoft Bing Ads stores a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Bing advert. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can recognise that someone has clicked on an ad, has been target page (conversion page). We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing advert and were then forwarded to the conversion page. No personal information about the identity of the user is disclosed.
If you do not want information about your behaviour to be used by Microsoft as explained above, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, by using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website and the processing of this data by Microsoft by clicking on the following link: http://choice.microsoft.com/de-DE/opt-out to declare your objection. Further information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft and Bing Ads can be found on the Microsoft website at https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement
Use of cookies for advertising purposes
We use cookies for marketing purposes, for example to tailor adverts to the interests of a website visitor. They are also used to limit the frequency of the advert and to measure the effectiveness of an advert. In this way, we record which websites and which articles have been clicked on. This allows us to target interest-based advertising. This information is shared with third parties. In these cases, the cookies are regularly set directly by the advertising partner.
Specifically, the following cookies are set:
Use of Google Remarketing
In addition to AdWords tracking, we also use Google Remarketing. This is targeting, i.e. the delivery of interest-based advertising on other advertising spaces outside our website. After visiting our website, this application can be used to display adverts for the services/products previously viewed on our website when you visit other websites. The cookie stored in your browser is used to recognise you. This allows Google to recognise your interest in certain products based on your previous visit to our website and to use this targeted display of advertisements on other websites. According to Google's own statements, the data collected as part of remarketing is not merged with your personal data, which may be stored by Google. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymisation is used in remarketing.
The purpose of this use is to provide you with interest-based advertising and to targeted manner. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield. The legal basis for the storage of cookies is the consent given (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR). The further analysis of the collected data over a period of up to 2 years is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
If you do not want adverts tailored to your interests to be displayed, you can deactivate cookies in your browser or inform Google of this for the future via the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/ .
Use of DoubleClick by Google
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, another service provided by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to display adverts that are relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports or to prevent a user from seeing the same adverts more than once. Google uses a cookie ID to record which adverts are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick advert and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.
By implementing these tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. Please note that this may result in data processing outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. We also have no influence on the handling and further use of the data by Google. The legal basis for the processing of your data for a period of up to [two] years is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.
If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can deactivate the use of cookies by Google for these purposes by visiting https://www.google.de/settings/ads/. Further information on DoubleClick by Google can be found at: https://www.google.de/doubleclick/ and on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/ . Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at http://www.networkadvertising.org/
If you do not wish to participate in this process, you can refuse the setting of cookies in your browser or make the appropriate settings at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/opt-out-interface.
